The mission of Professional Development for Pueblo School District 70 is to enhance the knowledge, skills and performance of all employees to advance student learning. Professional Development of all school staff members is essential to improving the learning of all children. Effective staff development focuses on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of teachers, administrators, and other school employees so that all students can learn and perform at their highest level.

Pueblo School District No. 70 is fully committed to providing an equal educational opportunity for all students enrolled in the district. The district notes that to meet the needs of Limited English Proficient (LEP) students, and to assist these students in reaching the high academic standards adopted by the district’s Board of Education and the Colorado State Board of Education, it intends to provide suitable, equitable, developmentally appropriate, and meaningful instructional programs for such students in kindergarten through grade 12 in accordance with the requirements of federal and state statutes as well as Colorado Department of Education’s regulations and guidelines.
